I agree, the first piece is pretty cool, but it needs bumped up in detail and resolution. you could also work on place a more direct lighting source to really emphasize the creature in the background. looks good though, keep going!

That composition is sick! You should do some more rendering on it. The foreground dude looks horizontally stretched so if you continue make him lean.

    Thank you guys

Thanks guys ... m already feeling comfortable here

@tron : yeah did that first sketch in low res

@lepush & visoutre : i am still in the learning phase and practicing comp and perspective ... perspective in the first sketch is complex for me and m not sure about placement of rocks behind the golem and the pose for the foreground dude ... hard to find references for this kind of scene ... however will definitely work on it at a later time after learning a bit more ... my previous pieces were just doodles and blurry stuff so i did the following to learn to use hard lines without destroying the painting

still unclear, but it does appear to feel like a big overwhelming atmosphere, like those structures tower over everything else. My suggestion on this piece, would be to place your lighting source so that the eye has a path to follow. when i get home, i'll do a paint over example

detailing takes too long for me to do like 2 hrs for something simple like this ... please suggest tips and tricks to digital art that can reduce my render time

i resed this from 700 to 1000 after saving hence the pixelation
