My First sketchbook
Drawing is a hobby for me and its awesome ... Trying to improve in the holidays
Just got myself a graphic tablet and trying to get the hang of it.
I m just a beginner so need ur crits and advice on how to improve and what to concentrate on.
and so my first sketch ...

@tron : yeah did that first sketch in low res
@lepush & visoutre : i am still in the learning phase and practicing comp and perspective ... perspective in the first sketch is complex for me and m not sure about placement of rocks behind the golem and the pose for the foreground dude ... hard to find references for this kind of scene ... however will definitely work on it at a later time after learning a bit more ... my previous pieces were just doodles and blurry stuff so i did the following to learn to use hard lines without destroying the painting

Trying to create depth and volume
was trying to incorporate big structures and keep the composition readable

rendering of previous sketch
Did some rendering to the sketch in previous post. although i learned a lot during the process i still want to detail it a little more with more whites

detailing takes too long for me to do like 2 hrs for something simple like this ... please suggest tips and tricks to digital art that can reduce my render time
i resed this from 700 to 1000 after saving hence the pixelation

Free time doodle
just started doodling and ended up like this ... i see some basic perspec flaws ... little if not no rendering at all ... hope i turn it into something better someday

I tried some pose studies ... I kinda liked this pose so did some speed paint over it

Well I got a little funked seeing artist go from nothing to just outright awesome ... So thought maybe I'd try something and its still a bit rough but hey i did this in about an hour and a half which i think is kinda ok ... I am improving and hopefully should nail form definition and contours quickly.
