Terminator Chaplain - A spot of help required

This was originally in the 'its finally finished' section of the site, however, it was brought to my attention that the image is a bit hap-hazard with lots of clashing elements and iffy light sources/shading and the anatomy is suspect. wanted to see if anyone else has any ideas, tips or critiques before I start to re-do it.

Many thanks if anyone has the time to take a look. I suspect I need to go back to basics with composition, colour theory anatomy etc

Aaaaaand this is one of the reasons why I don't like WH40K...

Do Speiss Mahreens have their heads moved down to below the collarbone? I'd recommend trying to do this from actual physical reference rather than the "MY SHOULDER PADS COMPENSATE FOR SOMETHING UNMENTIONABLE" work of canon.

Just write this off as a valuable exercise and redo it. Focus on building a correct perspective this time.

Wouldn't work, you can't use normal human anatomy in Space Marine armour.
Think of it as a robot with a human head.

For the OP - get your forms worked out first and as arenhaus mentioned get your perspective right.

I can see where you are coming from Falchion, but to echo Venger, the space
marines are no longer guys in exo-suits as such. The armour is a physical extension
of their bodies. The position of the chaplains head is its trademark and a design
of the "terminator" regiments, who are a different build than the standard space
    marine armour types.
