    Sketches and the like!

    Greetings, all!

    I present my sketchings.

I'm shooting for comics at the moment, so I'm studying anatomy. I'm a novice with the scanner, ^^;; The hands and the couple are studies done from rapidly sketching photographs on the computer. I try to do this with at least ten photos a day.

Please feel free to tear this apart with criticism! This seems like the perfect place for it!

    Welcome to CA!

For figure drawing I highly recommend starting with gesture as Michael Hampton teaches.

    Thank you very much,

Page has been bookmarked. I'm just now looking through the blog, and I've already found several helpfull things to remember. In particular, I liked the whole "draw muscles onto the figure" pictures, This really helps, so thanks again!

I tried my hand at colouring in a painting program. I used SAI, a Japanese painting program.
I think the watercolours look neat, and I'd love to try my hand at copying some photographs with SAI, although I'm not sure how and where to start.

I started copying masters. This is the brandywine school, one of my personal favorites. Sadly I couldn't really find a good digital image..
