    Rough Road Ahead

Hi there. It has been many years since I have posted on this site. Thought it was about time I started upgrading my skills faster. I have been animating on cartoons for a while now but that has been more moving symbols around rather than drawing, so now it's time to get my butt in gear. Let me know anything and everything I should do to improve.

This is just some of my more recent work not really in order. Hope you enjoy stopping by.

Yeah.... I do have a lot of drawings but it would take forever to go through them all, so I figured I would just put a few up here and then try to post more as I go. Easier then looking in the past .

BTW: You should put the link to your sketchbook in your name signature so I can find it, and others!

Nice Brah! Sooo many gesture studies, sweeeet! Good job. That self portrait doesn't look like you, but likeness comes in time. Keep it up. But, the values are looking much better again on the Self Portrait! Keep rocking it bradda!!

    HabrielaCriss- Thanks.

Justin- Yeah... still having issues with likeness. Gonna keep at it though.

Jablar- Thanks. Doodles are so much fun .

    StaticX – Thanks.

MartinC- Thank you. I will keep working hard.

Here are some more studies done today. Attempted to paint Arya from GoT. Still having issues with likeness but it was fun to paint in colour. No where near a satisfied level yet though.

More studies at Starbucks and then more when I got home. Still trying to get a handle on painting and using colours but it was fun giving a little more dimension to Squidward.

Some life drawings from yesterday. Was out with friends all day so it was hard to get anything done, but managed to sneak into my old school and get a couple hours of life drawings in.

Can't get in a good value or colour mood, so here are some studies and gestures for now.

Niiiiiceee bradda!! Those are all great studies, but really loving your animal studies, keep doing them!! Its funny, your values are actually waaay better in your quick study then your actual long value study. haha. So, big improvement there too!

Quick-ish sketch. Not too happy with this but I had to get some art done today. Going out, so who knows when I will have time to work on stuff today. Btw its supposed to be Ygritte from GoT.

Nice effort bradda, although since its popping right out at me I thought I would mention it to you, the facial features and construction is misaligned, especially the eyes, and it is looking flat due to in proper painting of the planes/form. But this will come in time, when you learn values better. And a study of facial planes would help. Keep at it dude! Still are getting better, values don't look to bad!

Been a busy weekend. Managed to spend some time on studies today. It sure does take a while to paint clothing... Well right now anyway.

Sweet, bradda! That photo study is looking good! Look how much your values/colors upgraded on just that, compared to only your last one and the one before that! All the construction looks pretty good too! Nice job! Keep this up!
