Cool sketchbook. I do agree with LtPlissken about your proportions but I see you are improving in that. That will honestly take time like anything else. I really like the composition in post #201. It would be cool to develop that some more. Also, I notice sometimes you paint skin a little too smooth. It doesn't always look natural. That's really just a nit picky thing but otherwise I'm looking forward to seeing more.
i fucked up the background but tomorrow i will work on that
Einstein never looked better in his honeycomb Christmas sweater, and man your values
got better on this last painting. I strongly encourage you to keep staring directly into
the dimmed bulb light, and don’t stray off from this road of sure success. Every time
you put a paint on a canvas, another cauliflower pops out from earth in Holland.
Truly reinventing things and positive surprise is what you deliver with every
of your new update.
me having a lot of fun
need to work more in the values of this one
Thanks for looking at my sketchbook. Looks like you've made a lot of improvements, especially in your rendering of environments. Maybe focus more on drawing the human form.
yep is one of the things i need to work on! thanks
Hairy chested Thor’s mallet directly out from the sky, hitting through the ground,
kaboooooom. I like the way how your ability to understand values keeps rising and you
are easily getting the hang of the main plot. Those who witnessed this heavenly accident,
will never stay straight hearted, they will have the fear deep within their eyes for all times.
I am looking forth to see more exciting wall shaking action from you, cause you are now
straight in a short row of success.
studys for the enviorment of the week.
You've got a load of the basics down, but sometimes I think you need to put a little more thought into where the light comes from and how it works, trust me I'm working on that as well atm. Now go forth and be awesome - that's an order.
thanks! yeh, im sure we will make it with time!
abandoned idea, need to create a more dynamic composition and th "horse"looks like a poney... i will make a better image in my next update!
The horse looks a bit small just as you said, but I like the color choice
and the values are great, you did an excellent job on the horses leg.
Keep evolving this piece cause it can turn out to be something promising.
stuff for a project im doing, lots of perspective issues but i will try to correct them... i am missing perspective guides in photoshop so much...
