Unhappy am i to old to pursuit a career in concep or ilustrations :S

hello i have 24 years and id like to know what do you think about this:

am i to old to pursuit a career in concep art or illustrations? i wasted a lot of my time in games when i was kid, then a jumped in to music, went to a degree in marketing, and then with 22 years i just quite the marketing degree and went to a degree in a school of visual arts, im finishing the second year. but this question is always in my mind...

i will put my page in d.a for you guys to see if im a lost case or if i have a chance.

Yes, you are far too old. Time to check yourself into the glue factory
and leave your adult diaper at the door.

NO. I'm the same age as you. If there was some sort universal age requirement of art-greatness before age 21 a LOT of people would be screwed. I think you're doing pretty good.

How come you didn't ask me that when I said I could not
get it up anymore. Now -that- was sarcasm!

At least you can take a joke and you can see where
everyone is coming from. That's a good start.

Your question gets asked at least a couple of times a month
and it has been answered time and time again. Some guys
here only started their careers in their 30s. Iain Mccaig, a
fantastic illustrator, stated in one of his DVDs that he
taught a man in his 80s how to illustrate and that same
man is now selling his work.

So less stressing, more studying. If you want to start
a career in professional illustration, these forums are a
great place to hang out. But be warned, this ain't no
    Deviantart.

Go for it. Be sure to put a link to your sketchbook in
your signature. It will help encourage people to check it out.
Also don't be afraid to comment in other peoples sketchbooks
    as well.

    Good luck.
