    Logartis sketchbook

    Hi guys!
I have been following the forum for a while and finally I decided to join.
I have been doing design related work for close to a decade now but only picked up digital painting in the past summer. I am here to improve my skills in this area and get some constructive criticism.

    My website: http://www.logartis.info
    My facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/logartis.info
    DeviantArt: http://logartis.deviantart.com/

I'll post the paintings chromatically, starting from the earliest ones (from past summer)

Workflow anims for the images below:

Really nice man, great values and colours, some really great strokes and application in these. Ape specifically has some really nice textures and edges.

I just made an alternative without the bowties because some people on another forum didn't like them. I have to agree, the colors work better this way.

    Sherlock Holmes

This is my interpretation of Sherlock's look. I like Robert Downey Jr. and Benedict Cumberbatch but they are really not Sherlock Holmes like for me.

    those old dudes are cools.
If I had one thing to say is that you should add more contrast in some of your picture. Sometime they seemed a little "flat" , but mayby it's my screen too...
