    Moth City Sketchbook

Hi everyone, I'm working on an online graphic novel called Moth City. I'm going to drop in and post the occasional image here, and can see more art and read some free comics at www.mothcity.com

Or even, crazy I know, have a chat about it on FB> www.facebook.com/MothCity

    Thanks for comments and critique!

    Here's an illustrator ink job:

and just to really confuse some of you, a 3D sculpt made in Maya that I use for my 'pencils' - although to be honest he's stark nekked and as hairless as an apple:

4 Tips for Character Design [VIDEO]

I've also made a short video condensing 4 years of character design work into 4 tips in 4 minutes. It contains some of the gems I stole from the flash people at Weta Workshop that I worked with

Here part of a panel I finished, it's of the the Lieutenant, which I can never spell, so everyone just calls him Lui, in a vague post-colonials bit of racism... Those crazy post colonials... One of the influences for his characters is Doc Holiday/VKilmer from 'Tombstone'

Here are some sample pages from www.mothcity.com

These are actually stacked pages, on the website you only view half of one of these at a time, which I prefer.
