    Breaking Chains

Hello everyone! My name is Chris. I am a 21 year old artist from America and I'm seeking to improve my drawing and painting skills as much as possible. I aspire to be able to be at professional level for illustrations (comics and comic book covers especially), storyboarding, animation and perhaps graphic design

Recently, I realized that I need a good go-to place for getting a good source of guidance, critique and a kick in the pants when needed, and CA looks like the very best at delivering those.

Here's some sketches and studies that I've done recently.

Like your traditional. Your digital is a start, but needs a lot of work. Keep on going!

Please, excuse me for the possible errors in my English.

Steeliebob: Thanks! I'll definitely try to get my digital to shape up. I'm a good long ways away from calling it professional.

Some more Loomis head studies. I also tried to imagine what one of the heads would look like from a straight on position, without the laughing.

Also, Kasumi and Hayabusa from some cool DoA5 screencaps.

EDIT: Tacked on a few heads from imagination.
