    Fuzzbook

I briefly posted stuff here in a different sketchbook a few years ago. I didn't really manage to keep the momentum going back then and my planned career shift from science to concept art never transpired. I'm back drawing and painting again now, however, and more determined this time to make a go of it. I feel as though I am more oriented toward the fine art route than concept art though, so this will mostly be traditional media.

A couple of recent bits and bobs then to start off with - things I have photos of on my desktop:

That's it for now, as uploading is proving to be a major headache. More soon though.

    Thanks for looking

I like your first selfportrait. I think you should do some shiny highlights on that black phone. I like your job. Keep posting.

Here's a quick sketch from a life drawing evening class I took over the winter. I have tried to upload more, but I keep getting server connection resets when using the attachment manager, so have given up on it for now.

Oh, and thanks Cojac. The phone actually has a relatively dull surface and it was painted in fading light, so the speculars are fairly accurate.

This is about the last of what I could find on my pc. A study of some horrid sentimental victorian statue, and a lovely wee lady called my mum.

A final post for today: quick sketch of my mum, quick sketch of my dad, a master copy after Guthrie which I never quite finished, and a cast drawing that has been driving me a little bit bonkers for what is becoming an embarrassingly long time.
