Your studies are good. You certainly have the drive it takes to improve!

I would say your weakness is accuracy, or more specifically, proportions. Take your time to measure and compare the placement of elements to one another. It is better to have an accurate image than a complete one. Take Richard Schmid for example:

So measure, measure, measure. Don't worry about speed, concern yourself with accuracy. Speed will come naturally.

Hey man, you're really rocking those gestures eh. Just remember they can only take you so far, start putting some meat on top of them, start working on some full figures, they'll really help you improve!

    Hey nice stuff
something I learned while drawing vanderpoel studies is, that you should avoid outstanding outlines especially in head drawings, try to fuse the outlines with the shading.
I think you should try some vanderpoel studys too, you can find the pdf on the internet ^^

Arteast thanks for stopping by my sb. Great studies here. Keep those up. Lane is right when he talks about accuracy. I suggest doing some gestures as warm ups daily instead of tons a day. Try doing some 15 and 30 second gestures as well to help you loosen up. Maybe an hour a day on gestures, then do some full figure studies spending roughly 30 minutes trying to get as accurate as possible.

If you can afford to buy this: http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.u...tomy-volume-2/

I highly recommend it. These anatomy lessons are taught by Ron Lemon who is a TAD teacher and one of the most adept teachers of anatomy. He breaks down the figure into basic shapes that allow you to quickly draw a full form in mere seconds. It will also allow you to start drawing figures from imagination much faster.
