    Hawkeye's butt (help)

I spent almost two hours trying to get this pose to look right without reference (just trying some personal improvement) so any input would help, as I've been staring at it for a while now haha.

What is he doing? His feet are not touching ground, but his pose doesn't suggest he's running or jumping.

pin up? haha. Like I said- it's not drawn to be a realistic pose, but I don't want it to look stupid.

this would be a bit more believable, but does it look cooler?

    Hello.
Nice start for getting used to drawing anatomy without reference - I always draw silly poses to train myself too. So, that being said, I'm not going to argue pose with you. I have, however, attempted a redline to point out some anatomy flaws that I can see if you want to keep this pose. Please ignore my terrible child-like writing.

Kveldvaahiim has the right idea with the bottom right bit of 'childish writing': acting it out is going to help greatly here, I think.
Just pretend you're a hunk with a bow and do some pose-striking. Even without a mirror or webcam this is going to add some believability and purpose to this thing.

Like it so far though. There's not enough firm, manly buttocks around.
