Smile FIT vs Parsons New School of Design for Illustration? :)

Lay it on me with the truth guys, which of two schools do you guys think have the best illustration major??

I applied to FIT and got in to general illustration ( not fashion ill. lol )

and i got in to Parsons New School of design as a HEOP student for illustration

And i just dont know what to do X__X

Im going to go visit the schools very soon to check them out myself

Ive been leaning alot towards FIT...but then the fact that i even got IN to Parsons is a big deal for alot of students in my senior high school class, so i guess its a pretty huge deal >.<

Ive researched online and all i got was:

---->Fit and Parsons hate eachother appearantly -_-

---->aaaand all they seem to stress GREATLY on is fashion design and photography(which is totally understandable, because both schools are really famous for fashion and photography^^ )

But i never hear anything about their art/ illustration department

So i just want an honest opinion from some experienced artists out there, which of the two schools do you think are best for illustration and why?

i want to eventually work in fields like book illustration, storyboarding, character design, comic book etc... if it helps ^--^

FIT is much cheaper (at least for NY residents) and has some really good people teaching there (Kam Mak, William Low, Dave DeVries, Vincent Difate). I don't know much about the Parsons program, but you can check out their faculty and other links on their blog.
