Nice book man. I like the abstract things. As for your poses. I think you should also look up Michael Hampton Design and invention. Study that along with loomis. Loomis is great for some aspects and Hampton also helps with imagination stuff.
thanks for the feedback guys!
@ Tef, glad to hear I actually did improve a little!
@ Mr. Hidalgo. Michael hampton you say? Gonna look that up in a minute. thanks for the tip!
Here are 2 more images
First is from Imagination, second is another study of the head.
I also did a handfull of gestures without ref. but they are just so bad, I don't even wan't to save them. haha, well lets practice some more!
For those who want to have the reference for the head here is a link to the images
Will do that Psycho!
So here is a first look at Michael hampton, and some gestures.

More gestures and studies
some more Hampton.
Only a very small update here. My birthday was today, and had some people over all day, resulting in little drawing time. but did try to paint a ninja/ samurai or something allong those lines from imagination to see if I learned something so far. Not to happy =P lets just practice some more.
Some basics practice, and some random drawings.
I can't say much at the moment, it seems you do the right things. You definitely have some skills already due to your past works, whatever they were.
I spent a lot of time thinking about that ball (I played with povray again instead of drawing too). It seemed impossible for the first sight but I wanted to check that and understand why... I'm not sure I got closer to it. I disagree with the reflected light on the ball. It's very bright in a limited area then the ball becomes very dark quickly. Reflected light doesn't work like this, IMO.
thank you for the crit shinin, I will have a look back at that sooner or later! But first want to practice some more basics before going to give painting an other try.
Here are some more basic shape practices, did a few pages more of these, but well, it gets the point across. haha

More base shape practice and gestures.
Really cool to see your progress from the first sketches to last ones. You've got the shape going on nicely. Some colour studies maybe in the near future too? Would be interesting to see those too.
Hey dood! I see you picked up that hampton book. Great read isn't it? simple Great studies lately man.
@Mindinart: I'm glad that you see some improvements haha! Thank you. Will get into color but first want to work on my basics a bit more! Lets move step by step.
@Pete Hidalgo: Yes, Hamptons book is amazing! great advice for sure!
@Kevin: sure will do! thank you.
@T-eight: Yes, glad you like it and welcome.
Sadly today, had a hard day of work and fell a sleep when i got home. Did a bit of basic practice, but little worth posting! now lets go to sleep to not have the same thing happen tomorrow. Damn it. haha
some sketch work from the last few days.
some memory, some studies, and some improvisation.
nice, keep it up... those exercizes will pay off eventually, and forever. your head are looking really solid, and i love the gestures. full of bounce.
LOTS OF STUDY!
Quantity is the key! the more you do, the more you'll be able to do after.. does that makes any sense? haha!
Well, you seem to try to understand your shapes in a 3d way which is the key to create image by your own, once you can visualise what you want to do in 3d, you cand draw it no prob! It would be really cool to see more digital stuff! it's imnportant to master this medium too since it's today most used tool to do concept art
Keep on going man, i'll be back
@ lisaann, thank you a lot! good to hear i am on the right pad!
@ wavenwater: I hear you, I notice that every few things of the same thing i figure out something new. So you make sense, hehe. I'll be sure to work hard!
more studies, gestures and some random doodles.
More hampton, More memory. And filled up my physical sketchbook! =) Next one is a a4 one instead of a a5.
