Excellent studies here. Makes me want to go to my local zoo and just draw the animals all day, lol.
Those are amazing dragons, especially the bottom one. The sharpness of his head really draws attention to it, especially the way the wings are slanted. I think it would help to add some other colours; even though it's a cool piece, just having the blue makes it look flat and monochromatic.
I just want to say, wow, I am really impressed with your sketchbook. The way you draw/paint animals is just amazing. Not only do you
manage to make them super adorable, but you also capture their personalities so well! I can't get over how nice they all turned
out. I would have to agree with the few people who were mentioning that your pictures may need some more color saturation, but
of course that is just a personal preference. Other than that all I have to say is just keep posting. I can't wait to see more
pictures from you.
Hell yeah elves. Her upper torso anatomy could use a little work (her top looks like she should be falling out of it, because it's a loose one, but the way you rendered it on her breasts makes it look like it's conforming to them pretty tightly? Which looks odd to me. Either the top will be loose, or it would be tight enough to be pushing her breasts together more), but I love her expression and she's got a certain delicacy to her, if a dangerous one.
@ viconia hey! Thank you! About color saturation.. its quite a problem.. i used to draw very colorful comics for years and am not learning to use more realistic colors. i am really afraid to oversaturate the colors sometimes, thats why i end up with rather dull ones in the end... i hope my vision will improve at some point..
@umbravita thank you!you are totally right about the top. i did not really think about what kind of top it should be at all. i started with the nacked body and added that top to cover the boobs in the first place xD i definitely need to think more when i draw...
Okay, one little update containing a new stilllife! I treid to pick more modern items this time... Lets call it "artists essentials"?
@Umbravita Thanks a lot! I can't tell the time exactly, since it way lying on my desk for about a week and i worked on it on and off, sometimes for a few minutes, sometimes longer. I think it took about 5 hours alltogether!
@ChrisLU thank you! i will!
Here is a little Elf girl from imagination! Its a kiribian i did for someone on da!
By the way, there are some steps for the previous stilllife on my blog!
that still life came out wicked. The face one has issues though, the shape of her head looks way to oval around the forehead area and it mesing with the structure of the nose bridge. Great rendering on it though!
You have some really good stuff in here matey I really like the drinking horn on the previous page I cant see anything to crit at all in that one. Come to think of it I cant see much to crit at all anyway lol.
Servus Du da, very good still lifes here, I am admiring your skills I am far from
that, but where are your sketches how did you start,.....do you have a sketch
book, did you studied in GER. Would love to see some sketches from Muenchen
Alla lass krachen hier und post auch mal noch bleistift und kugelschreiber
sketches, die werden nie langweilig
Yay! I wonder why you have been a lurker for so long, your stuff looks good
I like your still lifes and animals (I find your rendering too soft here and there, though, the enviro thumbnails too... The vampire cheerleader is a nice idea, human anatomy is tricky so that isn't totally right there but these aren't jumping to us (you know, there are cases when there's a more or less nice painting with some stuff being too low level compared to the rest, it's disturbing. But a more balanced one with some not too big flaws can be quite enjoyable, you don't need to be a master to produce lovely paintings. Am I understandable? I hope so).
@Lightship69 Thank you! If you ever find something to crit i would be grateful!
@JFierce Thank you, im trying!
@shockowaffel Thanks! And welcome!
@Ixallus Thank you
@iven hey thanks, i did not get to sketching munich all that much.. should definitely change that..
@Sean McClain haha.. hard to believe its impressive to someone, so thanks x)
@Charadas im glad you like it! oh and i changed the link.. thanks for noticing!
@shiNIN thank you, yeah i know.. its hard for me to balance hard and soft strokes... i feel more comfortable with the soft ones and seem to overdo it a lot :/ if you happen to have tipps they are welcome! rest, i dont really understand? :"D
Okay, so here is some stilllife i did today, i feel like i messed it up though.. but did not feel like messing with it longer..
Also, here are some weird hamster - like animal designs i did for a project.. i forgot to post them here last time, even though i postet it in the crits section. the design changed since then too^^

'rest': I meant the other parts of a picture, it's a work with multiple meanings as zillion others. Nevermind.
I like the weird animal thing The still life is pretty cool, it's very calming, lovely colors.
The fairy has freakish (in my opinion) doll eyes and a freakish huge cranium. The hair could use some work too. Apart of these, I like it. It's nothing wrong with a gothic fairy and it's you SB and your art, do what you WANT
@shiNIN haha, thanks.. Yeah it might look freakish indeed.. Its really animeish , rendered more tightly, and i think it makes it odd.. Glad if you like aniway though!
@SamCDee thank you! i try..
@kevin_ thanks! yay for girly stuff then
@Punk Munkk thanks.. definitely should do more of those...
@Black Spot thank you! yeah sharpness seems hard to me at the moment.. i still havnt figured it out... im trying.. and well, yeah.. i should pay more attention to forms anyway.. sometimes im just too stupid)
Here is something different - its some little quick comic devils i drew for a card game we developed at my university.
very quick ones.. i know there is a lot in there that could be better but well...
I posted some steps and the final cards on my blog if you want to see more!
