The Grunklin lives in the ice-cream mountains. His physique allows him to jump great distances, as far as the MOON if he wants to! The Grunklin comes in three different varieties and it’s diet consists primarily of candy bugs, ice cream and other sweets. The Grunklins live in peace in their cold environment and are a friendly species. It’s unknown where these dudes come from, but some believe if they are able to jump to the moon, maybe they jumped their way
here from distant galaxies!

Grunklins use their large tusks and tail spikes to root around for food in the deep snow of their mountain homeland. Their massive legs allow them to bound through deep drifts and leap from mountain to mountain. They are shy and elusive beasts, and while they enjoy regular visits from children bearing candy (the Grunklin's favorite) from nearby villages, not a single adult has ever seen one. Thus they are considered to be naught but a childhood fantasy.

Grunklins anatomy is a miracle of evolution, over millons of years they developed five main adaptations to reach and cross the limits of space.
-elastic arms that elongates first and once in contact with the floor they get tense for the first impulse (20mts)
-powerfull legs for the second impulse (120mts)
-a long and curly tail for the third and more powerfull impulse (space high)
-a gas (made of specially digested candy) in their bellys let them ignore the gravity to mantain the impulse
-a kind of sail in the back let them change direction to take advantage of the air currents.
They live in the high mountains so they are "close" to space anyway. Besides eating candy and jumping, they like colors, so they paint themselves almost everyday with new colors. They are grey actually!!!

This creature has powerful back legs so when they gather speed up in the mountains they can jump to great heights. They have long tongues that can act almost like a hose to collect their favorite hard candies like jawbreakers. This tongue goes straight to their large expandable stomach pouches. They also store large amounts of food and candy, brought by village children, in these stomach pouches to take back to their caves for the long winters. This also allows them to travel far distances and always have enough food. They are favorites of the children when they are "small" much like a large breed dog but over the years they can grow to the size of a house when given a diet of mostly candy and sugar which they crave where as in the wild only the very oldest grunklins grow so large.

Grunklins live in high snowy mountains, and will periodically leave their mountain caves to go in search of candy in towns. Before anyone can catch a glimpse of a Grunklin the shoot off like a rocket into the atmosphere with their powerful back legs landing back in the mountains. We can only assume some human left candy trash in the mountains and a passing Grunklin found the food and they have now acquired a taste for it.SpydrXIII.DeviantArt.com

Concept: Big bum Grunklin
This is my final. A fat Grunklin jumping by his huge bum . He has a hole on his tooth to put candy in, hands with hard nails to crack candy, monkey liked cheek pouchs and a huge bum to jump "as high as space". He eats a lots of candy so he is really fat.

"Grunklin love candy! Grunklin love jumpy!"
This novel creature defies the laws of physics, leaping to the top of mountains, gnashing its giant teeth with glee through mounds of candy and having a generally good time.

Grunklins live in high snow mountains. They are very friendly , specially with children. That's why everyday, Grunklins´s neighbours give them candy when they knock their door.DiHeB

voted for Elephant's Stroke. I was looking in designs for something whimsical, nonsensical, and extravagant that a child would think up, and you were the one who pulled it off best in my opinion. It seems to manage and balance all of the requirements effectively, is nicely rendered, and looks like the product of a child's mind.
dahlia, brehm and scorge had it close, but something about them didn't quite sink in as belonging to a child's imagination. I don't know how else to word it, but they weren't quite there for me. Again, it's all subjective.
Quality entries this round everyone!
