Been thinking about going to school, I have a full time job, so I dont have too many options. So I was thinking an online art school. I havent really found too many, expect academy of art online. Is it any decent? Would it be a waste? I would like to be an illustrator by the way. Thanks for any comments in advance.
Well, i wouldnt be the same as being there next to the teacher and get direct advice in the spot any time u want, really i would never take traditional art classes online, why spend thousands of dollars in that when u can find some youtube video on the subject... just go to school man.
-We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.
-Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon 'em.
I am an academy of art student, on sight. I did my undergrad on sight and I am just starting my mfa. Most people who do the online classes fail out at an extreme rate. It is doable but not entirely a good idea.
TAD's student work is amazing. I have friends who will be attending soon.
Seem's pretty legit to me. I don't know much about Schoolism, but Bobby Chiu and a few others seem to really have their hearts in the right place. But again, I'm not too familiar with Schoolism.
