    R.I.P. Ronnie Montrose

Died on the 3rd of March 2012. I just heard about it a couple of days ago.
Montrose was a huge influence on me in the 70's. Legendary guitarist played for a number of great 70's rock bands before starting his own. His death was ruled a suicide from a self inflicted gunshot to the head. He was 64.
The song Voyager is still one of my all time favorite rock guitar songs.
Here is a good tribute by Sammy Hagar

I guess I posted my tribute over on FB. But yeah, Ronnie, RIP man.

Edit: Well that made me tear up. Now I gotta find something to link to...tough to find decent stuff...
