This round is round 256, and to go with that, we’re going to look at colour and pixels. As digital artists we tend to use the Red, Green, Blue colour mode (i.e. the additive primaries) to make our work. This week your task is to make a creature that pays homage to this. Exactly how is up to you, but you must the creature(s) should be exclusively red, green and blue. You might want to do a red a green and a blue creature, or throw all three into one. Try and play off the digital side, or the pixel-based elements of art-making here. Be creative and have fun, it’s pretty wide open, but I want to see some clever plays on the way we do what we do (in creature form!).
Requirements this Week:
- The creature should pay homage to RGB colour in some way
- The creature’s colour scheme must exclusively be comprised of Red, Green and Blue and must incorporate all three
- The creature should in some way hint at or play at the notion of pixel-based art
