    haha obviously not exact, but i tried to get his likeness down in a relatively short time. Something about weird look old guys is just so enjoyable to paint!
    this took about an hour.

    real cool stuff. i really like the variety of styles n techniques in ur work. i especially dig the pics from the very first post, and the ones done with the heavy canvas textured brush (the old man study kicks ass!). so keep it up, experiment as much as possible - gonna get u far ;d cheers!

    Hey man, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook. I'm really enjoying the digital work you're posting. You said earlier on that you're still struggling with the feel and that can be a bit of a battle, but I think you are successful with the high contrast and looseness especially on the quick sketchy ones. I see you've gotten some brushes (looks like barontieri's brushes), I am a huge advocate of making your own brushes. Sometimes it's nice to just doodle and play with brushes to build a toolbox for yourself.

    The studies are lookin good and I would definitely encourage you to keep at them, it's SO SO SO helpful.

    Also, OpenCanvas, YES! definitely would like to do some OC when time permits.
