I come from Croatia and besides labelling myself as a student of life, most of all I enjoy observing and making visual art

for now let me start my sketchbook with this tribute to Andrew Loomis.
it's almost a copy of a cover to his book "Fun with a pencil" from 1939
Done in Photoshop CS6 beta trial
Female figure study from reference also played with some brushes just to see how they look studying mainly form and values here
Done in PS CS6
Loomis done traditionally with pencils then retouched in photoshop
This one is whole done in ps
And some stuff from my imagination
pencils, retouched in ps
Photoshop doodle of a whale

A very imaginative and creative new start you have here.
I fully support your thing, your determination is a
true example for us all. You just keep it up like this,
I will try to follow. All the best wishes in your future.

thank you for your respond ma friend, thou you exaggerate my positive sides a bit ^^
"Long time no see" so, I'll upload everything I had been doing since my last post here. I'll try to keep doing art even thou I'm really busy with job, learning web design to get a better job and so..
Ok, I missed this one and shoulda posted it in the with other previous Loomis studies, but here it is now:
I've spent some time on this one, it is made purely from imagination hope you like it
This one was so fun to do - Serge Birault ( you might know him I'm sure , also nicknamed Papaninja ) made an art of female Thor then many artists joined (10-15) and added their versions to his , here's my contribution:
And just to update my old project to new sketchbook, I'm really close to being satisfied with it
Lineart difference, OLD version (from previous sb) and NEW revamped version which I have changed only slightly for the final image
All I need to do now is render it well, add good simple background and then I'll spent some more time designing and implementing wings for her - yes, she is angel of the war

Olla again , spam post since no one replied.. kinda deserve it since I don't have much time to browse other people's SB's XD
So, some sea creature / monster right from my imagination, no references used. It could be polished alot more but I'm satisfied with what I tried to achieve.

I can see some real anger in the eyes of this last fish,
you portrayed his feeling really efficiently. Working real
hard and fast is what you are my friend, you make us all
to work more and to feel motivated. I will punish my self
with a fist cause of not coming here more earlier and more often.
