Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
I'm currently a first year art student and I love drawing! I'm very open to opinions and critiques, so PLEASE do not hesitate to share yours (you can even be rude and blunt! As long as you're honest, I'm THAT easy-going). My first post will be kind of an introductory to the work I've done over the years. I'd greatly appreciate your feedback and critiques on my more recent stuff (especially on my colouring because I can't colour for poop.)
Semi-completed charcoal drawing on rag paper. My other hand looks like a penis so I decided not to include it.
I cried lots while doing this perspective/line-weight project.
I did some quick fan art of Ariel. As I've previously mentioned, I cannot colour for poop.
Negative space exercise.

Another WIP shot I'm quite fond of. High school. Age 17

Anyway, I'm a new member of this community and have been inspired by what I've seen on here. I'll admit that I feel super intimidated about posting my art next to some pretty awesome people, but I do want to get better and I think this will help in keeping me motivated. I'll be posting up some figure drawings and stuff next week, perhaps

Lol I love that self portrait, it has a lot of expression and character. Although I think ( and i say this lightly cause I am also an amateur ) the image is a little overexposed...
You got amazing stuff here! keep posting! oh...btw you are gorgeous
Hey SarSengo! Thanks =3 and yeah, my drawing professor took photos of us to copy for our self-portraits and she boosted up the contrast to make it easier for us to draw. I thought the exact same thing when I saw my photo, so it's great that I'm not the only one who feels that way.
However, even though it's strongly lit, I think it has a good range of light, midtones, and shadow to make for a rich image. Also, the portrait probably looks awkward since I cropped out my other hand.
Anyway, thanks for your input! I really appreciate it =D and you don't have to say things lightly around me.
Sorry about the graininess! I had to take photos =(
Some figure stuff we did in my first year of drawing class. There is a 2 min gesture in there and the longest amount of time I spent on a piece was about an hour.
(this excludes the drawing of Reggie, the sculpture with the bunny on his shoulder... that took about 25-30 hours and it's still not done D=)
