DSG 1637: Sci-Fi • FUTURE JET-TYPE AIRCRAFT HAS SOME UNEXPECTEDLY TEXTURED SURFACES

    .

[ As we gain deeper understandings of avionics and as materials that can actively morph are developed and utilized, some unexpectedly exotic control surfaces will come into invention. ]

[ Although we currently associate smoothness with advanced aerodynamics, there will be other possibilities that arise that may allow for greater speed, agility, stealth, or whatever. ]

    [ So... ]

    [ Do that. ]

    [ ]

[ ...And if you really wanna get into it, you could show the same aircraft with those surfaces at different stages. ]

Not sure if I got it right, I focused on the "actively morph" part. Tough one!

I just made a ship that is made out of something that can morph between two different versions of the same ship. It's also the first time i've ever drawn a space ship of any kind. God that was hard. Let's do another!

@Anthis: That is SUCH an awesome idea. Could warrant further exploration even...

Here's mine, kept it under 45 min. It's a jet type ship that would fly under and repair other airborne crafts with its tentacles spawning from the fish-flesh on its back. It would filter the damaged parts through its membranes, repurpose the useful materials, and then spit out the garbage from underneath.

I went with the idea that in the future there are far less resources available so they grow most of the externals organically, and can get them to grow further to adapt to specific requirements.

    1-3, best to worst.

Having a bit of trouble here thinking of a response without using the 'clay' memory material from Anthis
