Its' free and it takes less than 10 seconds!
I meant to create a sketchbook here for a long time but never got around to do it. I guess I thought I wasn't good enough for conceptart or something. Well, that was a mistake. I am sure I would have been much better by now if I did.
I seriously need to get much much better, that's my number one priority in life right now. So, I take it all rather seriously.
Here are few paintings, that I done recently, for a start. I will try to post more varied work later.
They are all just practice pieces based on photo references.

This is what I have been working on past 2 days, plus some sketching etc..
I am trying to build the whole skeleton in 3D and I plan to put some muscles on it later as well.
Here is my spine WIP, it's mostly done but there is still some work left to be done on thoracic and lumbar vertebrae, plus missing inter-vertebral discs obviously. I have already some other parts done but I will post that later.
I am trying to make it as accurate as I can, so it takes quite a bit of time.
Painting from life, the skull sitting next to my computer.
Just practicing some scenery painting, based on photo reference
This looks really cool!
Very impressive 3D work, at least I think 3D is very hard to do.
Keep it up, and looking forward to see more next time I drop by
I am still working on my human model, so there should be some update soon and as for the difficulty of 3D, it depends. It's certainly very time consuming but the modeling itself so not that hard, getting all the shapes and proportions can be tricky though, just like with drawing etc..
Unfortunately there was no update yesterday, as I was busy doing homeworks for other people.
For today there is at least couple of ribcage studies. I am doing some research for my 3D model. I have already started working on the ribcage section.
These are just simple pen drawings, I do quite a few of these pretty much almost every day but most of them are just scribbles and not really worth posting.
Some update on my human skeleton model, there is still a lot of work to do on this.
Some rough figures from imagination done in Photoshop. To be able to draw good figures from imagination is pretty high on my priority list but I have still a long a way to go.
more figures from imagination, just practice to remind myself how far I am from being able to draw decent figure from imagination ... back to doing more studies
Some zombie guy ... prowling the neighborhood, looking for brai.... I mean new friends, yes he is just looking for new friends
Thanks, I should get back to it. I got a bit stuck on proportions.
Well, here is update for today, it was supposed to be an exercise but it kind of failed. Here it is anyway, as I don't have anything else for the update.
Just to show that I do more than those few pieces that I post here, I compiled the 25 pages of the leg studies that I did in past 2 days.
These are just simple pen drawings done on cheap copy paper. I have large pile of that here and constantly adding new stuff to it.
I do these studies every day, as I do minimum of 5 hours of some drawing/painting/3D modeling every day, as I could hardly hope to get better by doing just those few pieces I usually post here.
Currently my priority is to get better at figure drawing and anatomy in general.
Continuing my work on the skeleton. This time working on the skull but it's not finished yet, not just because of the obvious missing pieces but even the skull itself still needs some work.
Another update on the skull. It's almost finished but still not quite there yet.
some painting practice, based on photo reference
More painting practice, based on photo ref
Just some dude with sunglasses ...
more practice, painting from life
Arm anatomy in progress. I hope it will be all finished tomorrow.
Here is finished arm supination model. There could be probably a bit more detailing here and there but it was just for a practice. I will probably do some other poses in the future, like pronation and demipronation.
