I like the values on those figures you did today...especially the one on the upper-left.
It's nice how you seem to always have that cold-warm contrast in the colour works...I'll keep that mind next time I do stuff in colour.

A piece that I actually did a couple months ago for a class assignment, but which I've just finished (probably) reworking for submission to a competition at my school.
@nichsweetd19 - Hah, it's possible, though most likely if she happens to be in the Game Design department.
@Clovie - Thanks! I think my warm/cool colour schemes developed out of an intense affection for yellow/violet colour schemes.. love me some complementary colours.

Haven't really drawn or painted much of anything all weekend, as my boyfriend was really sick and I had to take care of him.
Back to it though! A piece from imagination, so I could play with colour.

A couple of studies. I wanted to find some cooler drapery to paint, but it was late, and I was just trying to paint SOMETHING before I fell asleep.

Just a couple of things today- a quick colour experiment, a speedpaint of Christopher Eccleston that I'm not too fond of (it seems to actually be harder for me to work in black and white), and a wip from today.
I'm trying to do more sketchy quick studies and things, but I seem to have a distinct difficulty with not polishing things up. :/

Just another speedpaint that turned into not so much of a speedpaint. Although it did take less than two hours...

Finding myself suffering from a horrific lack of drawing time lately do to having been picked up to work on a project that I probably can't post my work for right now.. but here's this!
She's a character I've been developing for a personal project- her name's Adva.

A little painty doodle and a close-up of a WIP. No one around here seems to do anything linear... not sure why. I guess it's not very painterly or whatever. It's how I painted most of the time when I first started out in digital though, and I felt like picking it up again just for kicks.

good ears! You are really good at drawing women. They are good looking but look real.

Work in progress, inspired by having played too much Magic last night with my boyfriend.
(Pssst. I daresay that is edging dangerously close to becoming an actual background..)
Critiques and comments appreciated!
@Theodor - Thanks! See, the underlying problem there is that I mostly only draw women. XD Really need to remedy that.
@cgaddict - Thank you. I used to push my values way too much, and I think I've recently over corrected that in an effort to take blacks out of my work. Need to meet somewhere in the middle..
