Thread: lets see
March 26th, 2012 #1
have been around for quite some time and saw ppl paint properly.
maybe some of you can give me some hints what to change to get in a more realistic direction.
now ill try to upload some from an a6 sketchbook to see if the images are in an acceptable size. sorry for the bad quality btw, i aint got no scanner.
most pics are from imagination some are whittaker studies (or more like having something nice to look at while drawing )

the size seems okay.
but hw do i get some distance between the images? it looks lil odd like that.
aand some more from the a6, in pencil this time.

i found some paintings i had on the harddisc.
the last 2 are the most recent.
and the one with the birds is some birdhousethingie i dunno how to call it in english. where birds can fly to eat seeds and shit in the winter. but since i left austria for greece right before it was snowy and cold all over europe ive nt tried it yet. the background is bend inwards on the bottom and if seeds are in there it should look like birds arounds would be a part of the picture or something. but dunno.
well thats it for now.
id be grateful for hints or links to any good tutorials.
and i try to post better stuff in the future.

Wow, great stuff I love that woman with the braid in the first post.
As for separating images in your post, there's a little paper clip icon (between the emoticon and undo arrow) that lets you select your uploaded pictures to insert them in text. That way they don't all clump together at the bottom of a post.

played around with skintones.
realy need to work on hands -.-
May 16th, 2012 #10
some rushed hands (black pencil) after handposes i found on google
mine trying to get a a realistic hand done with colour variations and stuff. didnt work out so i got bored and overpainted most of it in a rush of "style". style is deadly some gangstermovie taught me. but how to get a realistic hand done? just not get bored of your own failure?
and one of a kid i baby-sit. less focus on getting the skintone right.

Hey, great sketchbook here. You have a very lovely "style?". Really, your art is like nothing I've ever seen. They all have a strange sorta almost photographic realistic quality but highly stylized at the same time. Great works, I'll be following with interest.
