    Shorinji Knight: Awesome inspiration!

couldn't stop myself so I did another character, not as rough as the other concept, but still pretty damn rough. If I end up using this character I will most likely change the dragon's design.

ps. I have another idea so I may end up sketching it out as well.
Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!

So I have to do this! haha
I was talking to a friend about this and I noticed the whole immortal bit, and I was joking around about a cowboy/western late 1800s themed duo. Joke turned into awesome so it must be done! haha

Here's my initial idea for each of them, I'm pretty happy with the dragon but the rider will be more fleshed out, gotta give him more dragon gear and weapons and of course get them into a better pose

As long as you show the development of the character then you don't need to provide another sheet, although I would recommend ad least including a back design in there to be safe

I love your idea but I foresee a problem for you--how do you make someone look both like a cowboy AND like a dragon-rider? He has to wear items from his dragon, so how do you do both? That might be tough.

ok, so they are immortal but the time will affect them, right? so i'm thinking about a warrior with appearence of an old man (about thousand years old?), with great beard and his lifetime commpanion with a lot of scars and signs of being old. I'm still wondering if the dragon due to his age should be enormously big, or if at some point it just stopped growing

whether time affects them is entirely up to you. I think the concept of a really old man and dragon is defiantly an interesting one.

Shorinji Knight: This is awesome ref indeed but remember, (and this goes out to everyone here) try not to be too derivative of stuff that's already be done.
