Avatar Legend of Korra HQ Trailer

    For those who haven't seen.

Nickelodon has the HQ trailer of the new Avatar series coming out later this fall.

    http://nicktoons.nick.com/videos/cli...aser-cx24.html

I'm looking forward to it. I like how it's showing a progression in society instead of the same setting 70+ years later.

Looks really awesome. I really liked the original and am very excited to see what they do with the new series.

Aand here's a link for people outside of US.

Looks very cool. However if this takes place around 100 years after the first one, hasn't technology developed a bit too fast? ^^'

Hmm. Maybe. Just feels like going from mostly the middle ages to some kind of 19th century/steam punk era seems like a bit of a jump. But maybe it'll make sense in the show...

I'm not so sure about that either because remember, the Fire Nation had inventions (although the inventor was not from Fire nation but a refugee) that already started on technology.

For example that drill used a combination of mechanics and firebending in Ba Sing Se.

The invasion of the Fire Nation, they made submarines, it's not too farfetched to start learning how to make them without bending.

It is also more confined to a new City, which IIRC is the city that used to be the Air Temple. So different areas are progressed with technology, other areas still kept in their ways.

Nah, but if you're more interested on the show. Someone had the Comic Con Panel about it on youtube, and the wiki has good info: http://avatar.wikia.com/wiki/The_Las...egend_of_Korra
