Hey guys! I used to have a sketchbood thread here years ago but I'd like to start one from scratch. This one will be for digital works and I'll start a traditional one soon.
I haven't been happy with my progress at all lately so I'd like to use this thread as motivation to move forward. The only way I've been able to get over art blocks in the past is just to push through it until I get inspired again. I'm going try and to post something new everyday, whether it's just a sketch, study, or more polished illustration.
I would really appreciate any advice you may have and thank you for looking!

I want to see your stuff! but I good way to move in a different direction is always to try and adopt a mentors style! move away from what you are use to and you can really see your own work in a different perspective!
I'll start by posting some older digital work...
(Fanart of the cat from David O'Reilly's Please Say Something
(Homestuck fanart of Aradia)
Robot concept art! Plus some negative shape practice.

Some art from a personal project, loosely drawn for fun.
In hindsight I should've put more attention into these but I think it's worth posting.
Some other random doodles
Animation run test
And I end it today with the most recent thing I've drawn.
Some sort of creepy / uncanny valley android that I was messing around with. Maybe I'll work on it again in the future, or start over.
Also, I know it's customary on here to post sketchbook work and anatomy studies. I'll be posting some of that once I have access to a scanner. (Maybe tomorrow, I think this is enough spam for one day!)
Some drawings of other people's characters that I made for friends.
The bottom one is Simon from Adventure Time.

Just some quick sketches based off the game Journey
Not much time to draw lately...
Just some cartoon facial expression practice
love the aradia especially. It's all pretty done well.
Like your cartoon faces and the robot designs.
Your 'fun' stuff is your strength, for the darker works I think you need to use more reference/real life etc to get a more convincing starting point.
my sketches here... http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=92997
www.sevans.co.nz , visit them or a puppy dies!
A random sketch / WIP, I'm not sure what I want to do with the background.
