This sounds fun and I have a great idea!

I'm going for a cat and a mouse, the mouse is standing on his feet and looks really scared, then there is the cat who look scary yet calm. I really want to give this piece a sense of scale.

So I spent a bit longer dicking around with this one. So far I'm liking parts of it, but still struggling with other parts (and trying to get away from the "photoshopped stock photo" kinda colours I've got going on right now).

@Platinguard, No I use Photoshop (CS6 beta ) with the simple round brush and an oil paint brush.

Anyway, here is a small update. Oh and it is not fur but cracks in his/her skin.

    Aaand I think I'm done.

Also, @Platinguard, Photoshop cs6 beta trail is free for 60 days, and it has an autosave/backup function!
