    Starting automotive sketches

Hi! I'm new on this forum. Recently I graduated architecture studies, but I always was interested in automotive design. I must say that I'm a beginner in digital painting so please keep this in mind
I present few of my car sketches. I hope that I'll learn something more being here on CA. Criticism and comments are most welcome!

It's quite obvious man, sorry but this kind of sketches are cool but too much common. Try to learn the fresnel effect btw

I agree that design of these cars is too much common (I'll work on it when i get used to drawing on tablet) but automotive design is way less popular than other concept arts for example characters or enviroments.
thanks for fresnel effect - i didn't know it's called like that.

The problem about car design is that most of them are already seen and the majority of people who's starting out (not only) can do only this kind of design level. What isn't common about car design is the ability to create something not abused, details and insides. Another thing really uncommon for concept designers is the ability to recreate vehicles of any ages and mix them with any kind of technology like for example the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the future or the cars from Speed Racer film.

I'm not saying that your sketches are wrong, in fact are quite good for starting out but the reason you had no reply is cause is something already seen lot of times. You had to keep doing it, push yourself and when you'll be able to do something really interesting people will start to come and see your work

(anyway ground your wheels, it's a mistake most people do but if something drawn is not grounded and with correct perspective we see it as weightless and in nature there's no way that something that big does not have weight)

what You wrote is much truth, I'll try to push myself to do more interesting and less common sketches (of course i'm going to make typical too, just to practice my drawing skills)
    thanks for Your reply.
