All these props are going into producing the my final year animation. Below is a quick screenshot of some test lighting in our scene to make sure everything fits.

What a really cool sketchbook! I'm slowly falling in love with stuff you are making for that animation, also creature sketches look great. Keep on posting

Wow, this is one hell of an inspiring sketchbook. Love the way you do concepts. Also the fabric on that militia model is

Thanks freakmod yeah the cloth on the militia guy was.... difficult to say the least.

Here's what my computer animation course resulted in anyway. A short CG animation made by a small team detailing the lives of a monster tracker and her fluffy friend. We had to cut a lot, but we got it completed in the end at least

Your 3d work is coming pretty cool - at least to a 3d wannabe like me.
I noticed some of yours values in the master studies tend to be not as light or dark as they should be - take the one from James Gurney, for example: a lot of areas of almost pure or pure black are missing on the pants of the people and in the architecture in the midground. Maybe that's something you should look out for.

Thanks Cesartalves! I'll certainly aim to keep an eye out on those values in the future

I'm just posting some progress shots of one of my latest pieces. I recently attained a scanner, so expect some traditional sketches up soon too.
