    Does anyone know when Spectrum results will be out?

    I'm anxious to see who got in! I'm excited for this year's book because a peer of mine at Ringling College of Art and Design, Andrew Theophilopolous, was nominated for an award in the unpublished category. He's doing some crazy cool stuff.

    Who here submitted work?

    I didn't obviously, but I am wondering when does this happen every year? It costs money to submit, right?

    I am thinking I could pull off a submission for the next one, depending when that is.

    The awards will be announced this year at Spectrum Live May 18-20. The list of people who will be in the book usually shows up by the end of March sometime.

    The deadline for submission is usually at the end of January and there is a $20 per piece entry fee.

    Yup, it's an annual publication. Usually around December/January you should be looking at the pieces you made for the year to think about putting in.

    And that is one of the stipulations; you need to have created it that year. It can't be some painting that you really liked that you made in 2005.

    It has to have been created or published within the previous year.
