    Sketchbook Pro ipad?

I am using the free version at the moment, so I was curious if anyone has used the pro version?

It says the pro version has fully editable brush settings, is this similar to photoshop's brush settings? Or at least can you change how hard the brush is vs soft?

It also says it has Larger Canvas sizes. Is it equivalent to and a4 canvas?

    Help appreciated!

You can change the brush settings in pro. They even have several preset already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZRCC1UgUIFQ
You can also change the canvas size to as large as you want.
Autodesk has slowed development of sketchbook pro and is focusing it toward Designer. Sketchbook Designer is vector based, like adobe illustrator. They also increased the price.

one issue I find with pro, my saved pictures are small & pixelated. How the devil do you fix that? I have the android tablet version.

No way to fix this on Android. The image resolution is tied to the screen resolution. It's one of the biggest knocks against SKP on Android.

This is not true. Procreate is NOT coming to Android.

It has been discussed often enough on their support forum and they have always said NO. Their focus is iOS.

It IS the best painting app for iPad.

You guys prefer Procreate, I have Procreate but I use most Sketchclub. It's all matter of what taste and workflow you enjoy most with. I dont think Procreate is the best app ever for ipad, there arent any perfect sketch app. All got weakness, personally I have used sketchbook pro and it laggs abit while sketching fast. And Procreate dont have some fast quick shortcuts, and Artrage is too slow for sketching. So it is all about taste. And sketchclub cost only 2 bucks, includings lots of layers and your own account for posting up sketch for ratings etc. Which other apps dont have this well for brushes also.
So it is all about taste, and good thing you can try them out before you wanna buy the complete version from them, which SC dont have. But SC is easy and fun to use.

you can get a student version of tons of stuff from autodesk if you just sign up as a student...i personally cannot stand using an ipad and i would recommend a graphics tablet such as an intuos 4 or 5 because all of the sizes other than extra large are cheaper than an ipad

I have a copy of Sketchbook Pro on my iPad 3. The retina display is a blessing and its easier to downsize on PC later. All in all, its an all rounder app. From casual doodling to professional output. The wrist protection is the best feature and prevents accidental marks.
