    MonkeyJam Sketchbook

A little background info. I attended Ringling College for Art and Design (animation department) about 5 years ago. While I should of studied the body and perfected my art, I chose to slack off and didn't last very long. Worst mistake. 5 years later here I am getting back into art.

I just recently acquired an HP Touchsmart TM2, so most of my drawing are being done on a tablet computer. I understand this isn't the best way to go about drawing, but I really do enjoy doing it this way. While I am at work I gesture draw, but on lined paper. I will upload these tomorrow.

I have never been very good with details. I have short attention span so I try and finish my drawings without to much care for details. My goal is to learn the human body along with digital painting without sacrificing quality.

I am going back to basics.

Please critique and give input. Thanks.

    Enjoy.

I have done 3 quick sketches (5 minutes) and 3 arm anatomy drawings

I am not so pleased with the torso on the last figure mode. The nose is supposed to be a long bird nose. Model is wearing it

The last one is a monochromatic lighting ball test.

I actually enjoyed doing this one.
