My buddy and I have started a clothing company called Paradox Industries. We are trying to appeal to the extreme sport crowd like snowboarding, skateboarding, and BMX. We also dabble a little bit in the music scene by supporting local artists by hooking them up with sweet gear and promoting them in any way possible. Just wanted some input on our logo and font choice and if it fits the crowd we're looking to please! Thanks!
Like Bieleib said, the sans-serif font is a good Idea, and personaly I would only use the symbol for one of the A's (if any), Using the symbol for both A's looks a bit naff in my opinion. Less is more!
But yeah, do what graphic designers do and make loads of variations, put them next to eachother and see wich works best.
I do like the logo.

Why paradox? I'm not to sure if that logo would really grab the attention of your intended market, just doesn't feel aggressive enough. stgodd got it right. Anderson Instrument Company has a logo very similar to your design.
I would stay far away from that shape, my first thought was that you ripped off The Verge and just inverted their logo because it was so similar, then Abstergo from the Assasin's Creed games does something similar and there is another clothing company called Control Sector doing something similar to that a few months ago.
It's not that it's bad but it's so similar to existing things it's not doing a lot to help eliminate confusion.
Choosing the right font for your article is crucial because it’s your audience’s first impression.
I don't Like the font you used ! Applying a suitable font for a Brand title or headline is a challenging task because font make your title appealing and interesting.
Its like a North Face logo but has a slight tweaked on it. Perhaps this company is a multi-million worth right now, the post is almost 3 years old. Weel, with regards to the logo design all i can say is that its a bit cheesy.
