Sketchbook: fireblades sketchbook - Page 3
#57 - Maria Ozawa?
Effin' sweet updates. That group pic under Aoife is pretty damn cool.
I don't kow what else to say except I'm a little jealous.
great book bro, keep posting!!
Always a treat to dip into your sketchbook. Who was that model in that last picture?
I see alot of progress in the recent post, great to see!
I'll give you the same advice as you gave me, dont slack off mate
GOGO! pick up the wacom and improve your skills, the harder you work the faster you will arrive at wherever you aim for
Great progress on the previous page! I'm quite liking the designs of your mechs
Right, well that was a lot more time off than I should have taken. Damn you diablo 3.
Some random stuff from today, including a frazetta study.
ANtY93: I had to look up the name, and yes I believe it is.
Nikoh: I'm bad at following my own advice
Head studies and my very first insect
also random character I'm working on.
That is a bad-ass group of warriors! I really like the blade also. Keep up the great work man
Todays draw, WARRIOR MAN, BAM. was starting to get a bit female heavy.
Anyway, I tried something a bit different with the saturated red strip. I'm not really that kind of guy. more just smokey not quite sure wtf is that background kind of guy.
Erikly - cheers man.
The Following User Says Thank You to fireblade For This Useful Post:
rough mech sketches, I'll try and get a few of these done a week and then choose one or 2 for more polish.
more random anatomy studies and a CHOW inspired wip drawing, probably won't post it in the Chow section as I'm not sure if I'll finish it.
More mech roughs today.
More anatomy studies as well as some progress on the winter spirit.
fuck! nice mechs!
they look sweet as!
Speaking of mechs, I've decided to polish one of them up a bit more, here's a wip.
Also some random figure studies, I wish pencils had Ctrl + Z.
Experimenting on soldier upgrade armour for fun and some random studies from ref.
Problem is...Your pencils don´t need control + Z... They´re great. Do you do most of your stuff with charcoal? What was the drawing above done with? The one of the chick?
Goremageddon - I haven't used charcoal, I should though, to get that nicer contrast. The drawings above are done with photoshop
THose sketches above are done in photoshop?? Wow.
Great SB! Really nice studies and traditional drawings!
Great sketchbook man keep it up! I really like how the winter spirit painting is coming along!

Reason: Needs to learn to read haha
More pencil drawings, really getting into them at the moment. Mostly studies plus some random imagination stuff.
Arteast - thanks, I'm not sure I'll finish it though.
Matelo - I'm going back to my roots with the traditional media, I've mostly been using photoshop in recent years.
Goremageddon - Just to clarify, the studies in post #77 are photoshop.
Nice updates. I like that you designed your characters in a kind of evolutionary way in the last design sheet. - it's very cool.
The anatomy studies are awesome, especially the digital ones, but your sketches are nice, too. I haven't used my pencils in a while but this made me want to pick them up again.
I'd love to see what you'll upload next so keep'em comin.
- and thanks for stopping by my sketchbook. Much appreciated.
Back to it again
with some more random head studies from various movies.
more head studies from ref.
great sketchbook!! I love the face's studies and all the designs, especially the illustration with the four characters is really cool
Your values studies are an inspiration, i'll keep looking at them while doing mine
