I'm a 20 year old who just want to improve so that I can tell the stories that are building up inside of me. I'd really love to be a graphic novelist and cover artist.
Any and all tips would be amazing and I am truly grateful!
I like the portraits so far. A tip for your digital work: up the hardness of your brushes, your environment painting has very soft edges and is all-around blurry.
I'm working on getting environments down, what do you think of this 20 mins PS sketch?
A creature sillhouette sheet for fun.
And a worksheet, the planes were already painted, I just blended them
A photoshop painting, what do you think?
Here it is! I worked hard on this, tell me what you think!
I spent a while on this, any critiques would be wonderful!

Hey! Here are some more studies, clouds and a landscape!
A six-hour black and white pencil on toned paper drawing.
1/33 landscapes I'm using as warm ups and to quickly get better at landscapes!
about 30 minutes. Thanks!
Update to my 33 landscapes challenge! 12/33 done. Any crits on color, light, mark-making etc, I would eat that up!
Thanks for looking!
A quick sketch before bed. Still a little under the weather.
the next landscape out of 33, lucky number 13: Primeval Forest. About an hour, still trying to figure out edges!
A quick purple elf, just trying to get that kind of in/out coming forward feel with the portrait. Thanks for looking!
Hey Angelique, you are doing great so far. Although I am not as experienced as other members, I would suggest to you when painting is don't be afraid to use hard brushes. Get some strong strokes in there, most of your paintings seem to consist of all soft edges and colors, don't be afraid to go wild and add contrast to the work. Foregrounds are usually stronger in color and become softer as they recede. Great job on that six hour drawing, it looks great!
My computer was blocking ConceptArt for a while so but now I can upload my work again!
Thanks for looking!
Really focused on varied brushstrokes and subtle color variations!
About an hour and a half.
