Great works thus far, a few quick commentoz:

dtouched- your second image/idea is great so much potential, the last one seems overcrowded.
lkjhgfdsa- right before you add texture, the grey version looks better,
i would make that texture layer really slight, i see its almost like a color overlay, i like yours.

My work in progress/attempt thus far, might run out of time.

The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek αναρχία in which αν meant ‘without’ and αρχία meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. Anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society.

Just a sketch of ruins of some temple. I didn't have the time for a more detailed picture this week...

    P. S. I'll be glad if it isn't included in the poll since it's too sketchy (:

    Debris

Hi. This is the first time I participate. I really like what you guys are doing here so I will try to join as much as I can from now. What you see is a town damaged by hurricane or flood. Originally I wanted to have a flower of hope ( Iris ) in the foreground growing out of the flipped root but it just didn't fit there at all. Till the next week Painted in PS in around 3h

My final (I guess images are no longer required to have EoW text or a specific file name?)

After the field testing of an anti-gravitation device came to an abrupt end, rumors of levitating, self-illuminating rock formations over Maryhay fields started spreading.

This is really cool Bara, great dynamic scene. I like how the sun picks up the flying junk on the right

Many good entries here, unruhe and Pixeltuner, you have my vote.
Yatzenty, Marko Markovic and Detouched, nice concepts, would have liked to see them a bit more polished.
Najtkriss, seems like we went for the same theme

    Here is my final.

Went with my second thumb and completed it.

A collision between many commercial transport spaceships created a massive wreck. Scavengers from a nearby planet were quick to get to the debris field and loot anything usefull they could find before the police could arrive.

All of these debris environments are awesome. If any of you are interested, we're holding an art contest on our website called "Spring Cleaning in Space". Just go to www.SpaceDominators.com and view our Contests page. Thank you all and keep up the great work.
