    luferndes - Sketchbook

Hey guys, I'm new here (great site, love it) I've been drawing since I could remember, drawing characters from my favorite movies as a kid and such (I'd guesstimate about 5 years old). I ended up losing my passion for it around middle school (maybe 7-8th grade) and would do it on and off since then. So my art is sometimes great, sometimes horrible. I personally have trouble being satisfied with my art, as I set really high standards for myself and end up being disappointed. I do mostly line art, as paint and coloring was never me forte, never enjoyed it. I'm hoping to eventually grasp it in school and at least be decent at it.

Anyway, without any more rambling. Here are some digitals I've done mixed with some older stuff. I'll be using this as motivation to constantly draw and it'll be updated with newer material.

Thank you! I got some more, some old some relatively new. From here on out everything will be brand new and will be progress from today. But thank you for the kind words, it's great motivation!

Here's a mix of observational and creative drawings. I love the first ones, with a weird almost Tim-Burton-esque Mario and Batsquid

Thanks! Got one I've been working on since last night, I think it's finished but I'm sure I'll find something I'm not happy about and make more revisions

Some anatomy study, didn't accomplish much today except some gestures and this

I messed up on her right leg, could be way better overall.
Oh, and this model was laying on the floor, hence the flat booty :p

Would it be okay if I painted up your Mario drawing? I can post it back here when it is done!

That's sickkkkk!!! LOL. I have some of Toad and Bowser, see if you like em, if you do feel free to bring them to life as well!

(this is almost a request because that mario is just awesome, my drawing really just sprang to life)

Cool, I will try and do something with them, but it might be a little longer since I am sort of busy right now.

Phew, I've been busy as well. But today I accomplished my first Photoshop project with full painting. Spent a good 10 hrs on it, and while it isn't fantastic, I think it is pretty decent for my first try!

I'd LOVE some feedback on this, as it's the most time consuming piece of art I've ever finished. I WILL return the favor!!
