Black n' Color Sketchbook
Ignore the sketchbook slug. :B
Hey guys! I'm just a youngin' trying to become super awesome at art in general.
I want a shit ton of critiques on everything I upload. I love to learn and expect to get my ass beat here. I'm hungry for mental abuse! As long as it helps me learn.
If you guys are interested in more of my art, feel free to follow my blog.

CRITIQUE : Urz
This is something I've been working on off and on. The original version was lost in a computer crash so I'm reworking it.
I think I could push the level of depth on the character more but I'm not sure how... any suggestions?

asian male fail
I can't find the original image of this guy but there is a lot of fail going on here if you had something to compare it to. ;_; I used to be super accurate with capturing details when using graphite but I've gotten very rusty on this. Doesn't help that I barely have time to refine, hone, and keep up my traditional techniques. Hopefully this will change in the near future.

I have a huge fascination with teeth, mouths, and for some odd reason; rendering fur... so have a 3D speed paint (so far) of my interpretation of Antoine from Archie's Sonic comics. I refuse to let this place become bombarded with Sonic stuff so if you're into that kind of thing I have an entire blog dedicated to it.
This has been sitting in my "need to finish" folder for about a month. I don't know when I will get the time to finish it.
Here's another speed paint on a similar premise that I've done.

Dope ass sketchbook Mr.Ebony. I like the gesture sketch of the alien skull the best. Keep at it.

A Little Gray
@ Blue Gun:
Thanks muchos for stopping by!
This little dude is part of a political comic that I hope to start sometime soon.
He is supposed to represent a mishmash of alien stereotypes will still holding his own.
Alien (1979: anatomical silhouette)
Grays (stereotype head and lower body shape)
Squid/Octopi (colors, eyes, head)
Marsupial Lion (teeth)
What do you guys think of his design, is there anything that I can do to push it further? Someone mentioned that it reminded them of of a certain someone... :B
I think that I should probably incorporate more squiddy appendages but I'm not sure how to go about it since I want him to be bipedal with more of a mammalian anatomical structure when it comes to the neck down.
Perhaps I should incorporate more aquatic mammalian features to him?

Critique : Under Pressure
The boss's assistant has cracked, just a little.
Just a speed painting. But any critiques would be good! If you need more to go by I understand. This is just a practice on bounced light, skin tones, and using one main source of lighting.

Thanks dude! I really need to do more human studies and speed paintings though. I want to get faster with my workflows and become the ultimate boss.
Thanks! Not sure what you mean but "economic design" but I will take it as a compliment! Haha…
thanks! I hope to do more of them.
