    Hey there, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook.

    You're making good progress from what I can tell. Whatever you're doing right, keep doing it.

    Looking at some of the paintings, especially the portrait studies that you're doing, it seems as though you are getting too caught up in trying to do the WHOLE thing every time to paint one of those. What I would suggest is keeping your bracket of time of doing those limited. Take like 10 portrait images and put a time limit of 5 mins max on each of those. It may sound crazy at first but this will help you to focus on the fundamentals, the big shapes and proportions, and not get too caught up in the details.

    Mr.Pryminista: Hey, thank you for the good advice.
    I tried out what you said, starting with full colour portraits at first which I realised was a bit much in 5 minutes. I noticed the construction was always rushed and off in those so I decided to dedicate all 5 minutes to the line drawing with plans to move onto value later. I'm going to try and keep this is up for some time. I think it'll be beneficial so thank you
