I do have to say, the way you shade, it is rather fantastic.
These drawings are freakin' beautiful!!!!!!
Edit* No but seriously, amazing work.
Two new quick sketches in red pencil. I've collected a few ecorche heads that my classmates and I have sculpted at the New York Academy, and sometimes I draw them as a warm up.
Some more quick sketches. These were done in-between helping students on their work in class. I find that when I sketch for a bit, it gives the students time to get their work done so when I walk around I have more to work with when I help them.
Nice indeed! How much time have you spent for this last two?
Thanks. The first one was of the two was around 40 min, and the second was about 15 min.
Some more quick sketches in between instructing a class. Both are graphite on a small bit of stonehenge paper from a pad I had laying around.
Prud'hon copy from the Morgan Library, silverpoint sketch on clay coat paper
Hey- been a while, just found this post and figured I'd put up some more recent drawings. All graphite. Cheers
Lovely, and I like the silverpoint one, that must have required a lot of patience.
Currently doing the Level Up course, so my SB is going to be lonely
