    Jerm's ZELDA WIP

This is a color comp for a piece of fan art I'm working on. I want to display it at SPECTRUM LIVE in May, so it has to look its best. Any thoughts or suggestions you have are appreciated.

Nice! It could use more drama though imo. Link and Ganondorf look like they're just casually talking/Ganondorf giving Link mentor advice instead of FINAL BATTLE!declarations of ruling the world with dramatic hand gestures and determined looks etc. Kinda nit picky but Zelda's left eye looks smaller than her right eye, also liking the colors and Zelda's portrait.

Is that lens-flare dot the triforce? It's so small, is it supposed to be far away or in front of Ganondorf? Is this piece supposed to be like baseball/trading card size or bigger?

I really like the look of zelda. She looks like a young princess.

Can you give us more info like why you chose a montage design? And like Kya mentioned, what is supposed to be happening here because its a bit dull?

I want to go to spectrum live but dang it would cost so much to fly there for it! Where you from jeremy?

Very hard to read as the triforce right now and looks a bit insignificant composition-wise. It might be a cool idea to work the triforce into the Nouveau design.

Another note: Like Sloth mentioned you could work the triforce into the nouveau design, but I noticed that Zelda doesn't have any hint of it in her jewelry, it is part of the royal family's symbol, unless those are the triangles in her necklace? Or you haven't added it yet?

Thanks guys, I've been to busy with my other stuff to get on with this piece, for now. I'll have to pick it back up later. Anyway I chose to go with a montage because I wanted to fit all the 3 characters in there, but wanted to get a lot of detail on Zelda especially. And yeah I agree it needs a little more clarity as to whats going on. I wanted Link and Ganon to be in the moment of meeting for the first time before their battle. And yeah, thats the tri-force in the background on top of a hill of rubble/ruins. A lot of it needs some work, I know. I'll have to get back to it.

ARTFIX: Yeah, I know. I just flew to Altoona, PA from Portland, OR back in Novemeber. That gets sooo expensive. I'm from Colorado. Went to RMCAD. Where you from, man?
