Should I finish this or throw it away? Looking forward for some advice. I Started doing digital art (and art in general) about 20 days ago
If you started doing art in general 20 days ago, that is great! I am going to copy and paste part of my reply in another thread. It is not meant to be discouraging, but to point you in a good direction. One problem with jumping right to digital painting is that it isn't the best way to learn to draw at the stage you are at. I strongly suggest that you pick up a pencil and sketchbook. I would even suggest learning to paint traditionally before jumping to digital. You really need, need, need, to work on your basic drawing (anatomy, perspective, composition, etc..) before diving into digital painting. Once you work on that, then study color theory and light.
Good links to get you started: Loomis Books
Download, successful drawing, and Figure drawing for all its worth read them, practice the excercises. Draw from life, from reference, rinse and repeat... Then get: Color & Light and Imaginative Realism
