Hehe, well it does come off as sour, but as I said, I had typed up a whole post before it got wiped by the login system, so I was more than a bit steamed when writing those comments.

Also, I think you misread some of what I typed, but it would be best to clear it up over AIM, as that would be much more constructive.

Also, I just did a drawing of a thumper, so I will post that in my sketchbook later on, if you are interested. It probably goes pretty far from Herbert's view, but it's a hard concept so...

Dude, this project of yours is fucking amazing. I've been following your work and it's insane how good you've gotten over the last couple of years. Just great work.

Dang, sorry tyboogie... I'm still workin' at it : \ without a doubt the toughest design... it's tough to do that guy justice...

metalwinds: Haha, I hope the rants were entertaining... thanx for the boost.

dfacto: I love your thumper duder

bRyaN: That's great to hear, thank you.

strych9ine: Thanx, I just had to sit-down and get serious these last years.

Rickxu: OHHHH YES! much more... workin' at the caryall right now... s'gotta be about 4 times the size of the harvester.

here's a test sketch I had fun with today, had to do an interpretation of the future based on the 1950's ... fun retro kinda' stuffs.

here's some thumbnails as well, a game-concept I'd like to work into a full project, tyboogie helped me out and did some great sketches (I'm hopin' he posts his)

man, those are 100 times better than any of the designs from either the 1986 movie or the Sci-Fi mini-series. The Dune novels were my favorate books of all time. Given the rich inspired source for of this cool and exotic material, It's a damn shame that we don't have more artists who interperet this stuff so lovingly. Excellent job, mate! I'd love to see your interpretation of Leto II as the half-worm God emperor.
