Is the whole movie going to be actors on green screen like sky captain?

I'm not sure how I like that... but Frank Miller said he would never let a Sin City movie be made, but apparently Robert Rodriguez shot footage with Josh Hartnett and showed it to him, and he gave it the go ahead because he was amazed at the look and its faithfulfuness to the comic... Maybe some green screen technique is necessary to achieve this style that won him over? I'm excited to see some real finished footage.

Is quentin Tarantino still going to direct a segment of the film?

That sounds cool. I really do hope they preserve the visual style of the comic though. Of course, it might not be understood by someone who's never seen it unless they try to push it as a modern black-&-white film-noir with strategic colors.

I just hope an actor like Josh Hartnett isn't gonna fuck everything up... I have serious doubts about that guy.
But I'm still looking forward to it. Same thing with the Preacher-movie: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0326004/

    Ditto on Josh Hartnett.

Tarantino is supposed to be helping out with this also. I was so enamored by the freaking kill bill movies, although I still have my doubts about this one. I'm gonna see it the day it comes out anyway

wtf. this is pure shit. they should scrap this and redo it as a film noir animated thing. The whole sin city style would be awesome translated to animation. Stupid hollywood.
