Thank you !
Stuff from the week, again a lot of sketches (practicing exercises) I'm still working at full time in an internship that has nothing to do with drawing, so I don't have really much time to get involved in big studies or new projects :'(
There's also a WIP of my acrylic painting, I've done too much mistakes of "processing" so it's an epic fail, I'll continue it a bit but don't expect to get a good result... I've made some research for tutorials and have found some ideas for my next project...

So.. Here's the stuff from the week, I'm going to have lesser time to draw because I'm starting the report for my internship for university -_- ....... I'm very very very frustrated...
I've stopped the acrylic painting, there were too many errors I couldn't bare this rampage anymore...
So, a study, sketches... (also some "personal fast sketches".. in the end it's crap)
July 23rd, 2012 #68
So... I think I'll post more often in order to avoid big posts like the last one...
I also think that I will work more on personal stuff... I'll try to go half studies/half personal..
'till september I won't be able to work on big stuff, I think there will be a lot of sketches during this period... Currently the only time spaces I got to draw are just after waking up at 7 before going to work and after work, before working on my report.. so I only got kinda 3h splitted up on the day... :s
Here are 3 fast figures and a crapy demon thing...

It's been a long time since I visited. I must say, you have made huge progress in such a short time!
Very good work with the body gestures. Those lines are great. The water color feathers are also very beautiful. The hard work is definitely showing.

Oh thank you Greenhouse ! It's nice to read things like that it's really motivating! but I still have a lot lot lot lot [...] lot of work to do before reaching my goal ^^

Your gouache skills are mad ! That Tintin rocket looks so real. At the moment I'm trying to attain a basic understanding of traditional media with gouache and damn is it hard.

MY SKETCHBOOK, COMMENT & CRITIC THE SHIT OUT OF ME
September 24th, 2012 #84
Hey there! Your anatomy drawings are working out quite well bro. Maybe it would be a good step to deepen yourself a bit in facial studies, seems to me that you got the basics under control! I admire your tries with gouache, it really sucks for me as i`m using the cheapest stuff there is to find. Very nice try on the shoe as well, i can really feel the material!
Heads up! cheers

Thank you guys ! Really motivating to see your comments !
-> Ozark : You may try to well define your types of shadows with your sketch firt starting to paint, I know that it helps me a lot with gouache, I will push even more on my next study !
-> Talis : Yep, actually, I'm currently trying to make better portraits, but damn it's so hard ! I have to work a lot to get maybe improving rendering !
-> Kasblue : Yes I feel this too, I will try to make better transitions on my next gouache study
Here is some stuff, not a lot cause I was sick
My morning warm up sketches... not good
An unfinished study, I wanted to go on something else, next time I'll take only one part of an armor so that I'll be able to go deeper in details !

Thank you guys ! I'm currently working on two portrait studies, one digital and another traditional with pencil, It takes longer to make them because I focus a lot on observation, hoping to get a maybe-better result...
Here's some other stuff I've been doing :
My warm up morning sketches :
Outdoor sketches, I need to do more of them... For the first one I was standing up in a very narrow street of the old part of my city...
A late night speedpainting... I'll try to do more of them too !
