Signal 'Out of Range' issue affecting Cintiq12wx. Please help!

I'm trying to run a Cintiq 12wx on a VAIO laptop, but it seems I need a new driver. Works fine on my boyfriend's computer, so it's not the Cintiq itself which is the problem. My laptop just won't accept it as a monitor, therefore no LCD.

According to the Wacom forum, someone with the Radeon/AMD (similar to mine) downloaded a 'Catalyst' driver and made it work fine. So I found a driver through auto-detect (also Catalyst) and tried to do the same. However, I get this message-

Other than contacting Sony on the forum, is there anything I can do about this? Pretty antsy about it since I've had this tablet for a week or so, unable to use it properly D:

I seem to have a new problem now.

The display seems to work now that I've got the correct cable, but it's apparently 'Out Of Range'. I'm not using a hub for the Cintiq's USB cable, all the connections are in, and for some reason when I interact with the Cintiq screen, it tries to alter what's on Monitor 1 when.. I kinda don't want to do that...

    Help? Please? 8/

Maybe you could try a different cable or different adapter (if you are using it). Anyway I strongly suggest you to send an email to Wacom or call them, you should find a shot time in this way.
