Suisei's Dream pages <---Yup corny!
I am here to continue my journey and get advice. I have been hesitant to start a sketchbook due to sometimes just feeling down and unmotivated to draw. I am a graduate with a B.F.A. and looking for a job in the video game/film industry in the Los Angeles/Orange County area. I have debt to pay off and it is really weighing on me. My stress stops me from being productive at times, but I must learn to focus this stress and continue this art journey. Art is all I have, it is all I am good/decent at. I still have things I need to work on and sitting around wont get me there. My ultimate goal in life is to be a Character Artist, but as of my current standing I am not nearly where I want to be. So I am looking for a Texture Artist position, Illustration Position, or Graphic Artist position. I feel any of these positions will get me closer to my goal.
I want to do 3D but right now my main desktop(That can handle 3D programs) is kaput. So for now I will draw and paint images. I appreciate anyone who stops by to check out my stuff. Thank you!

I totally like the Panther one as it is now too!!
Yeah, it may seem a bit unfinished, but it also has a nice... I dunno?
Well, let's just say I like it lots, and if you work more on it I really look forward seeing it

In post#4 the panther that is emerging out of the sand roaring, is taking away from overall, calm feel of the picture (I think that's what it is suppose to convey) and generally he doesn't seem to be doing anything for the picture, but distracting the viewer. You might like the outcome even more if you change that.
That said, you have good and diverse work in here. Just don't let the stress get to you and keep on improving.

Thanks guys! I have taken out the panther/tiger thing as suggested, because the picture really does have a calm, supernatural feeling and that tiger/panther thing just wasn't doing much for it. I haven't been able to work a lot on it, because my computer was lagging pretty hard and I spent almost all day yesterday cleaning it out. Ugh~ I did a couple of marker sketches and a little image I like to call blast from the past. I am taking an old image(from 2005) and revamping it. I think it is important as an artist, to see where you were and where you are! Really puts things in perspective. She had arm issues, so I have them currently erased and her hands are placed where I want them to be on the scythe. Seriously, what was my 19/20 year old head thinkin! HER ARM IS CHAINED TO HER NECK?! WTF?! LOL Also, a couple of other pictures I forgot to post from a little bit ago. You can really see my lack in animal sketching here.
